Principal, Jongseo Kim Architect PC

Jongseo Kim is the principal architect of Jongseo Kim Architect PC, with over 25 years of experience across the United States, South Korea, and Japan. Licensed in New York, New Jersey, Alabama, and Georgia, he specializes in a wide spectrum of architecture, ranging from single and multi-family housing to complex mixed-use developments.

His work is grounded in the belief that successful architecture is achieved through the integration of design, structure, and construction. With extensive experience in steel, concrete, precast concrete, wood, cable structures, membranes, and glass, he approaches each project with both creative vision and technical understanding. His expertise also extends to construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination, enabling thoughtful design solutions that can be efficiently realized.

Throughout his career, he has worked on projects across South Korea, Japan, and the United States, allowing him to adapt to diverse architectural contexts and local requirements. Prior to establishing his current firm, he developed his professional foundation at Gansam Partners (Seoul), Structural Design Group (Tokyo), Santiago Calatrava (New York), and Rockwell Group (New York).

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Hong-Ik University in Seoul and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University in New York.
